- Appointments are REQUIRED for In-Person Absentee Voting. Please call 715-235-3165 to schedule your appointment. Please note that there is a limited number of times available and they will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Non-Tax Payments
Payments for Town of Tainter fees (other than taxes) can now be made using a credit card. A convenience fee of 2.95% for credit and debit cards is charged by our provider with a minimum card fee of $3.95. Application forms are still required to be completed and submitted to the Town of Tainter.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS: The first half of real estate taxes are due by January 31, 2026 and shall be paid to the Town of Tainter Treasurer, N8150 CTH DG, Colfax, WI 54730. FUTURE DATED CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Solid Waste & Recycling

Dog Licenses
Dog Licenses are due by March 31st (late fees apply April 1st through Dec 31st).
