Non-Tax Payments
Payments for Town of Tainter fees (other than taxes) can now be made using a credit card. A convenience fee of 2.95% for credit and debit cards is charged by our provider with a minimum card fee of $3.95. Application forms are still required to be completed and submitted to the Town of Tainter.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS: The first half of real estate taxes are due by January 31, 2026 and shall be paid to the Town of Tainter Treasurer, N8150 CTH DG, Colfax, WI 54730. FUTURE DATED CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Solid Waste & Recycling
Tainter resident may use either the Colfax or Elk Mound collection sites offered through the Colfax Solid Waste and Recycling program for waste disposal. Click on the Solid Waste & Recycling Management Flyer below for more information.
